Loon

Bird calls in the distance and the water answers back.

Arrive wound tight.
Leave loose.

One bedroom, a queen, a sofa bed if you need it. Attached to Moose next door, but with its own entrance and its own deck — you’d never know anyone else was there.

Faces the river, same as Salmon down the row. What Loon has that the others don’t is the dark. Set back a touch further from the rest, so once the fire’s down the sky takes over. On a clear night you’ll lose count trying.

Full kitchen, hot shower, Wi-Fi if you want it. Most guests say they didn’t need it.

We reply personally, usually the same day.

Our Western Arm cabins sit on Western Arm Brook, about 5.4 km outside Point Leamington on the road toward Leading Tickles.

Cross the bridge over the river and you’re there on the left — the ocean opens up right on the other side.

The nearest store is back in Point Leamington, about ten minutes by car, so most guests arrive with groceries and don’t leave again until they have to.
